Art of Sewing (dba Sew Vac Sales and Service) has been in business in Kingsport since 1974. We are authorized Husqvarna Viking, Singer, "ditto Pattern Projector" system, Janome, Juki, Accuquilt, and Grace Qnique dealers. We carry the most current popular models as well as parts, thread and accessories. We  carry extensive sewing machine parts for other machines as well.

We are the best service and repair company in the Tri-Cities with more than 100 years combined experience. We offer free estimates on all makes and models of sewing machine, sergers, etc.  repairs . Our average turnaround time is1-2 days. Also, with the purchase of a long arm machine, we will come to your home for set up and instructions, plus if you purchase the Quilt Motion or Sure Stitch Automation, we will offer in-store or ONLINE instruction.

With ever machine you purchase from the Art of Sewing, instruction classes are available. These classes, include but not limited to, sewing machines, sergers, embroidery, beginner "how to sew"/Dittos, accuquilt and long arm machines.Other classes include machine embroidery instruction, embroidery digitizing, beginning quilting, and quilting on a home machine with ruler work. Also, for your convience, we offer the above classes in an online format.
